A quick visual guide for assembling the Shreddo 5 carbon frame.

Before you start

4x M3x20 mm countersunk screws
4x M3 steel nuts
5x M3x12 mm caphead screws
10x M3x8 mm buttonhead screws
4x M3x6 mm buttonhead screws

Assembly

Step by step

01

Install stack screws

Mount the M3x20 mm countersunk stack screws together with the M3 steel nuts. Use Loctite to secure the screws.

Add locking plates and arms

Sandwich the arm-lock TPU layer between the two carbon locking plates, then add the arms into the locking stack.

Secure the arms

Secure the arms with the M3x12 mm caphead screws. Check that the arms sit flat before tightening everything evenly.

Add bottom buttonhead screws

Add standoffs and the lower TPU parts. Use the M3x8 mm and M3x6 mm buttonhead screws in the marked positions.

Add top buttonhead screws

Install the top plate and remaining TPU parts. Use the marked buttonhead screw lengths for the top plate, canopy, and rear mounts.
